Concert aftermath
With the concert over, I walked home. Usual repercussions on the streets around Drumcondra and the North Circular Road. This is the window sill of the Bank Of Ireland, Drumcondra.
Bono's summer 'Christmas Tree'
Toward the end, Bono asked everyone to hold up their mobiles in the air to make a 'Christmas tree'. The result -- not really done justice here with this cameraphone shot -- was amazing. Afterwards, he asked us to text the word 'Africa' to a special number for some petition. (A footnote: I got a text from "Bono" this morning, thanking me for attending the gig and for showing an interest in "making poverty history". Me and 81,000 others, probably.)
